This is our annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration, so get your Irish stews, soda breads, & corned beef ready! Thanks to Cindy Duerr for reserving the space for us again this year! 

IMPORTANT: Please note the date as your (absentminded) Fearless Leader erroneously put the wrong date in the February newsletter.  

ALSO IMPORTANT: For Virginia residents who have to deal with asinine state laws restricting the ability of businesses to serve as drop off sites for homebrew competitions, this will be a drop-off site for Spirit of Free Beer.  So feel free to bring your entries.  

1 PM - Set Up 

If you are bringing a keg to share or entering the competition, you can start setting up at 1.  A few volunteers are also needed to set up tables and chairs, so please help out if you can get there a little early.

1:30 PM - Meeting Start

2 PM - McCoubrey Stout Competition

Judging will start promptly at 2 PM, so if you are entering the competition please make sure you arrive earlier to register and/or check-in.  It's not too late to sign up at: https://burp.org/event-5583306.

3 PM - Beer & Cheese Pairing 

Pam Leifer will select some of the stouts from the meeting and pair them with a few cheeses she will bring.  She will be leading an exercise to identify your favorite pairing and least favorite pairing. 

4 PM - Announcements

4:30 PM - Clean Up

We need to return the clubhouse in the same shape we found it.  So please stick around, help clean up and put away the tables and chairs before heading out.
