Hop Union Reception and Beer Social

UPDATE: We are pleased to announce that the site for the Friday
evening reception is being sponsored by Representative Jim Moran of
Virginia, a great supporter of both the local brewing industry and the
homebrewing hobby. The reception is to be held in the beautiful
and historic Cannon House Office Building Caucus Room on Capitol
Hill. This magnificent room, built in 1903 in the Beaux Arts style,
is the oldest House assembly room outside of the Capitol itself.

The Caucus Room is easily accessible via the Washington Metro (See Directions page)
NOTE:
- Being a House Office building, be aware that "Business Casual" dress is requested: no Sneakers/Jeans/T-Shirts. Nothing fancy; just tasteful.
- Being a House Office building, there will be a security/ID check just like an airport: Save your knives, bombs, moonshine and hooch for the hotel hospitality suite!
- Contact us to make arrangement to have your beer served on the hill, because our liason has to make all beer deliveries. We will be picking up beer (kegged or otherwise) from the Comfort Inn hotel for out-of-towners to take to the Cannon Caucus Room. Please email bobkepler@yahoo.com if you wish to participate.
